1. Purchasing of the "uncoated copper" PCB's at the manufacturer of your choice.
Advantage: boundless storage time of uncoated copper PCB's (no obsolescence of the immersion tin – product)
2. Optimisation of the chain of delivery by direct transport to APL, no detours via temporary storage facilities, or similar.
Advantage: Reduction of the logistic expenses (if necessary inexpensive sea cargo)
3. Storage of the PCB's in the Customer's Logistics Stocking (CLS)
Receiving inspection after §377 (German Commercial Code)
Advantage: Reduction of the stock-holding expenses
4. Call-off order / order of the PCB's
Stocking product going into process „just in time“ (preterm 2-3 working days)
Advantage: smarttin® coating arrives "as fresh as possible" at your customer
5. Before agreed delivery logistics (UPS, DHL, forwarding agency)
Exact delivery times and delivery deadlines
Advantage: AQL check with balancing line & outgoing of goods
Currently it is usual to obtain PCB's including soldering surface of a PCB producer. The trend, to produce PCB's in low wage countries is unbroken. Indeed, we also ascertain a rising number of the faultily solder able PCB's, in particular from the Far East. These often do not fulfil the demanded mounting and soldering standards by far. The concept of APL begins exactly here.
The PCB's with uncoated copper are bought from the manufacturer of your choice and are delivered directly to the APL. Detours via third are avoided, additional initial or output expenses are cancelled. Because the PCB's are sent in the copper state, expensive air cargo can be renounced. Also your storage charges decrease, because APL provides you a Customer’s Logistic Stocking (CLS), free of charge until the call-off order of your PCB's. Of course the stored PCB's can be insured against fires, burglary, theft and vandalism.
With order or call-off order we coat your PCB's “uncoated copper” with our smarttin® and send this in the original- or secondary packing directly to the mounting line of your customer. With pleasure we also consider the wishes of the end user, as for example special secondary packing, labelling, etc.
A coating thick measuring and end protocol (X-Ray Fischer metrology, X ULM) is enclosed to every consignment. The quality and cleanness of the copper surface as well as the necessary tin thickness is defined together with you and your PCB manufacturer. This new chain of delivery allows ourselves to handle high-class fluctuations concerning the immersion tin coating and generate cost advantages for your end users.
